Peach & Quiet

with special guest Wherzpeter

Harrison Memorial Cultural Centre
16074 Crawford Creek Road, Crawford Bay

Another beautiful Canadian reality, that comes from the scenic landscapes of British Columbia, is the duo called Peach & Quiet, formed by Heather Read and Jonny Miller. This duo “sounds like they have been playing together for 30 years” even though it was only in 2019 that Jonny and Heather found each other, emotionally, spiritually and musically. They quickly discovered the joy of singing, playing and writing together, with Heather’s clear alto a perfect foil to Jonny’s slightly gritty “character voice.” Their performances leave audiences with that nice feeling of warmth and familiarity, like that smell of coffee and toast in the morning that you know all too well but never get tired of. They will be bringing songs from their new album, Beautiful Thing as well as selections from their previous record Just Beyond the Shine.

Special guests are one of the eastshore’s favourite duos, Wherzpeter. Fresh off this summer’s Wild West Coast Tour, Mary Livingstone and partner Paul Winfield will start things off with some of their latest originals and quirky covers.

Come and join us for an evening of heart and soul performances.
